Blogging Around The Net
There are lots of good posts out there that I don’t have time to dive into right how. But I wanted to share. Here are the ones I’ve seen recently.
Keeping your Wordpress alive during a traffic storm
Using the WP-Cache plugin actually creates a static version of your pages so that the strain on the server becomes much less when traffic spikes.
Since Lifehacker seems to like Tumblr, now I think I have to check it out. Have you tumbled before? Supposedly it’s like blogging, only easier???
Web 2.0 Awards are out! Included are all sorts of great services from social bookmarking to task management, travel and much more.
Weebly launched. It’s a new hosted blogging platform like Blogger.com or Wordpress.com.
Google Reader for the Wii! I haven’t had time to check it out yet, but it’s definitely on my to-do list.

That WP Cache plugin is an interesting one. I’ve had a prior complaint from my host company so will install that if it happens again.
Cheers.
I’ll keep an eye on your blog to see if you post your results.
WP Cache is one of my favorite plugins I’ve run into so far, its brilliant and saves a lot of bandwidth.
Mike - Do you ever have issues were things on your site feel a bit behind? Or how does it appear no different?
Nope, infact my expiray date is 2 days.
Currently I would rather keep my bandwidth low and site speed high, so it all really comes down to how you want to manage you’re site.
Mike, your comments made me install the plugin on two different sties.
If all works out well, I’ll post a followup.
